About CodeConverter.net
What is CodeConverter.net?
CodeConverter.net is a collection of free, browser-based developer tools — minifiers, converters, formatters, and generators — built for web developers and engineers who want to get things done quickly without friction. Every tool works directly in your browser: no account, no login, no upload to a third-party server, and no waiting.
We believe that the tools developers reach for dozens of times a day should be instant, private, and free. That's the whole idea behind this site.
How does it work?
Every tool on CodeConverter.net runs entirely client-side using JavaScript. When you paste code into a minifier or a converter, the processing happens inside your browser tab — your input is never transmitted to any server. This means:
- Complete privacy — proprietary code, API credentials, and sensitive config files are safe to use with our tools.
- No rate limits — there's no server to overload, so you can process as much as you need, as often as you need.
- Works offline — once the page has loaded, most tools continue working without an internet connection.
- Always fast — there's no round-trip to a server, so results appear almost instantaneously.
Our values
Tools open instantly and produce results as you type, or with a single click. No spinners, no API calls, no waiting.
Your code never leaves your machine. We don't collect inputs, store outputs, or share any data with third parties.
No accounts, no paywalls, no dark patterns. Open a tool and use it — exactly the way developer tools should work.
Every tool on CodeConverter.net is free, with no usage limits. If you find value here, you can optionally support the site — but there's no obligation.
Who built this?
CodeConverter.net is built and maintained by Stefan Kröll from SK interactive, a small one-person web development business based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The site grew out of personal frustration with developer tool sites that are slow, require accounts, send your code to the cloud, or bury the actual tool behind advertising. The goal was simple: build the fastest, most private versions of the tools I actually use every day — and make them free for everyone.
